Accessing settings
Section titled “Accessing settings”- Click your profile icon in the bottom-left of the sidebar
- Select Settings from the menu
- Navigate between tabs for different categories
If your institution uses SSO, some settings are managed by your administrator and won’t be editable here.
Account settings
Section titled “Account settings”| Setting | What it does |

| Display name | How your name appears in the platform |
| Theme | Switch between light and dark mode |
| Language | Interface language (if multiple languages are enabled) |
| Default model | Which model is selected when you start a new conversation |
Usage and balance
Section titled “Usage and balance”Your credit balance, token usage, and (in some deployments) file-storage usage are visible under Settings → Balance or Settings → Usage. For how credits and tokens work, refill mechanics, and choosing models for cost, see Credits & Tokens.
Model access
Section titled “Model access”Not all models are available to all users. Your administrator controls which models are enabled for your account. If you need access to a specific model that isn’t showing in your model selector, contact your IT department.
Notification preferences
Section titled “Notification preferences”Depending on your deployment, you may be able to adjust email or in-platform notifications for activity in shared agents or spaces.
SSO and authentication
Section titled “SSO and authentication”campusGenAI uses your institution’s SSO system. You authenticate with your normal institutional credentials. Sessions expire according to your institution’s security policy — you may need to re-authenticate periodically. You cannot change your password or primary email directly in campusGenAI; manage those through your institution’s identity system.
